I moved to New York back in 08/2007 for work-related purposes. I wanted to find an affordable place, yet be close to the city at the same time, so Bushwick seemed to be a good choice. We got a newly renovated 2br on a 3rd floor walk-up for $1600, so $800/ea. People who once lived in Williamsburg are moving out here because they're getting priced out and it's getting expensive.
