Good-Bye Brooklyn - Hello ?Any recommendations - 7/7/2012
I was born and raised in Brooklyn and it has many places to venture. The rent here is totally outrageous. One cannot get an apartment for less than $1000.00/month. Brooklyn has mixed ethnicities, italian, jewish, russian, chinese, etc. I am simply fed up politically with the Human Service programs offered here.

Brooklyn is an OK place if you really make a terrific income. Everything is expensive. People are people whereevr you go. If your friendly, they'll be friendly back.

If your single it will be rough managing on your own. There are happenings and culture in Brooklyn but everything cost money.

I have traveled throughout the US but throughout the states. I really cannot compare Brooklyn to any other state than Florida or Jersey.

My suggestion to you is to do your homework on the net, or on this site and read what others have to say. In my opinion if your happy and content with your life it doesn't matter where you go.  Read More
