3. "Elizabeth City is a hidden gem in North Carolina. It has a tight-knit community where everyone knows each other. The schools are great and there's a lot of opportunities for outdoor recreation. The only downside is that it can be a bit isolated from larger cities and there's not a lot of diversity." - Emily K.
4. "I've lived in Elizabeth City for a few years now and I have mixed feelings. On one hand, the cost of living is low and the people are nice. But on the other hand, there's not a lot to do here and the crime rate is a bit concerning. It's a small town, so you have to drive out to bigger cities for entertainment or shopping." - Mark R.

Do Not Move to Elizabeth City - 1/26/2021
I lived in Elizabeth City for 17 years. It is a depressed area with very little to offer. The schools are very poor, and the crime rate is through the roof. My home was robbed while I was there, and my car broken into 3 times. Aside from the school system, hospital, and Coast Guard there are no good job opportunities. Once I was able to I left and never looked back.
