No jobs, lots of outdoor activities, good & bad. - 10/18/2020
Zero Jobs, Zero opportunities & a moderate population of drug addicts, meth heads and thieves. Mostly Retired 50 + yr olds on one side of the river and undesirable folks on the other side of the bridge.
Frequent squatters in RV's along the river that have been known to dump their black water waste in the waters, particularly in the summer months. Besides all the bad, the community is friendly and the climate is quite nice and the bike path is one of the best in the nation. Dorena also has great access to outdoor recreations via off-road trails, hiking, biking, river rafting and covered bridges.
