Furlong is a nice quite suburban, semi rural area north east of Philadelphia. Commute time to downtown Philadelphia is 1 hour, and to Manhattan is 90 minutes. The area is surrounded by farmland with cattle and horses.
This area has very low crime, good schools. Somewhat distant from large malls and crowded places. Low diversity (almost 98% white).
Close to New Hope ( a tourist favorite), Princeton, NJ, and Doylestown, PA (famous for Art/Sculpture). A lot of antiques shops in the area.
