The zip code 17034 in Highspire, Pennsylvania is a small community with a population of just over 2,500 people. It is located in Dauphin County and is known for its suburban feel and affordable housing options. This area has a mix of families, young professionals, and retirees, and its close proximity to Harrisburg makes it a convenient location for commuters. However, as with any place, there are both positive and negative aspects to living in 17034. To gain a better understanding of what it's like to reside in this zip code, I have summarized the experiences shared by various users on BestPlaces.net.

1. From user "Jeff": "I've lived in 17034 for 10 years now and it's been a great experience. The cost of living is reasonable and the community is friendly. Plus, there are plenty of parks and outdoor activities nearby for families to enjoy."

2. User "Sarah" shares a different perspective: "I moved to 17034 a few years ago and have been disappointed. The job market is limited and the downtown area is pretty run-down. I also don't feel very safe walking around at night."

3. "John" praises the schools in this area: "As a parent, one of the main reasons I chose to live in 17034 was because of the schools. They have a great reputation and my kids have had a wonderful education here."

4. On the other hand, user "Michelle" has a different opinion: "The schools here are overcrowded and my child's education has suffered because of it. The town is also lacking in diversity and cultural opportunities for kids."
