Pittsburgh - not great - 8/24/2017
Pittsburgh is not a great place to live. There is little diversity, a lack of quality jobs and little economic opportunity. There is a lack of quality in culture, entertainment and other activities. Compare this to other cities such as Boston or Dallas-Fort Worth or even New Haven, Ct.

It costs more to park here than in NYC. Museums except for Warhol have only replicas. People do not support the arts. Downtown is a ghost town after 6 p.m. Crime rate is high. The weather is terrible, you will be inside for at least 5-6 months of the year

There are some bright spots in newer areas such as East Liberty and Lawrenceville, but it is very limited. Society here is sadly very segmented. It is great if you have a very high income - it can be nice but there is still a lack of diversity that makes other cities compelling and vibrant.
