Love New Braunfels - 4/12/2019
We lived in New Braunfels for 13 years and did not want to leave but did so do to a promotion at work. Our children loved Comal ISD, it was a much needed change for them since before they went to the Anchorage School District and it was awful. We had the most wonderful neighbors who were better than family and miss them. We saw major changes in the 13 years we lived there and it is growing exponentially, everyday a new business or housing development pops up. The weather is humid and warm most the year just how my wife likes it. Being a military family and moving many times we can say without a doubt New Braunfels was the first and so far only home we have truly known. Texas is military retiree friendly unlike Nebraska (were we currently reside), low or no taxes, lots to do, weather is good the majority of the year, this is place to be if you can, we hope to retire back to Texas in the Read More
