Overpriced! Overpriced!! Overpriced!!! - 11/1/2018
When we first moved to Royse City, the property taxes in our area we're $1500-$2500. Now they're roughly $6000 per year for a home near the $200,000 price range. The roads are extremely congested from traffic, and we don't have lights where we need them to help with the traffic issues. We have a hand full of the same businesses instead of a variety that we need. The home prices have jumped at an unbelievable rate. People are being taxed out of the community.

Taxes are low, homes cost about 1/4 less around this town than the surrounding cities. Though the little few jobs they have are minimum wage or slightly higher, not really good considering household expensives. Almost everyone living in Royse City work in surrounding
