NJ transplant living in UT - 3/5/2009
I was transferred to UT in 2000 for work. I had been working on Wall St for the past 7 years and it was a great opportunity to get away from the city. West Jordan is great. My neighbors gave us a couple days and then all made a point to come over and introduce themselves. My wife was 7 months pregnant at the time. When they determined that we did not have family locally, several gave me numbers to call them when my wife went into labor so that they could watch our other kids. The weather here is much better then the east coast. It is drier and not many bugs. The winters don't feel as cold because the humidity is so low. Overall we have really enjoyed living here and hope we will be able to stay.
