We came to the area a few years ago and fell in love with the quaint, historic qualities of the town. However, once we moved here we came to find out rather quickly that the town loves tourists, and for people to spend money. But if you want a job here you'd better have a recognizable family name or a big bank account. I was even told by 2 employers that I didn't have a Southern enough accent for them to hire me! Common courtesy iOS lacking. Taxes are out of control and houses suck for the prices. Was told if your kids are in school here and you don't have money, the kids won't be playing sports. Never thought I'd say it, but I can't wait for the chance to find somewhere Read More
