Boones Mill, VA - 5/16/2007
I have lived in the Boones Mill, VA area for 5 years now and love the area. The views of the Blue Ridge Mountains are breath taking, the cost of living is extremely affordable, and the southern charm is welcoming. Roanoke is just 10 minutes away to the north and is a comfortable city to find all the amenities one would want. Rocky Mount is just 10 minutes south and is a small country town but offers much. Smith Mountain Lake is 30 minutes away and is a perk to the area for recreation. The climate is moderate and the area offers plenty of mountainous views.
