For starters, there is NOT almost 7 thousand people in Forks but 3-4k.
I would recommend forks to live for only certain groups :
If you've had a hectic life and you're ready for some quiet and don't mind just doing your own thing for retiring.
You already have family/friends here.
You're bringing your friends/family with you because you got a job here before moving.
For everyone else, just come here for a motel so that you can enjoy the scenery of the national parks nearby.
It doesn't get very hot in the summer. It rains most of the year and 4 times as much as the other side of the county. Which isn't a problem but if you have seasonal depression it might be a problem for you.
The people that are 'from here' that are not natives are very snooty. They don't seem to much care for newcomers to the point that... example... I've seen about 5 hair places just off the main road, and none
