Not a town - 2/2/2021
I live here in Baker. It's quite beautiful, as it's in a mountainous region. It's not actually a town. It has a Dollar General and a small convenience store/gas station. There's an excellent little medical, dental and mental health facility here, as well as a very nice little nursing home. (Hawse Health). There are no other businesses. The weather can be rough in winter months, with a lot of snow and ice, with poor quality county road maintenance. For example, I've been snowed in at he for 3 days and counting right now. I'm just one mile from the main highway, but I can't reach it. I only recommend living here if you like isolation and very wintery weather.
