Waterloo, WI is a small village located in Wisconsin’s Dane County. It is bordered by the city of Marshall to the northwest, Lake Kegonsa to the east, and Cross Plains to the southeast. With a population of just under 5,000 as stated by the 2020 census, Waterloo is one of the smallest towns in Wisconsin. Despite its size, Waterloo has much to offer and is known for its historical buildings, friendly atmosphere and outdoor activities.
One of Waterloo’s main attractions are the historic buildings that line Main Street. Dating back to 1841 when it was founded by John Ager, these buildings have been around since before Wisconsin even became a state! Visitors can also take part in outdoor activities such as biking along one of five different trails or visiting one of five parks located within its boundaries. Meanwhile, locals can enjoy the shopping opportunities offered by local boutiques or spend a relaxing evening at one of three restaurants located downtown.
