Bardstown, KY is one of Kentucky's oldest cities located 35 miles southeast of Louisville in Nelson County. It has a population of 14000 people and its downtown area offers various retail stores including boutique shops selling antiques as well as Spiritous Distillery--the oldest continuously operating distillery in the U.S.--and Civil War era museums which can be explored by visitors who come to this historical town every year for its celebrated Bourbon Festival held each fall.
