We actually live south of Herndon in Oak Hill (Zip Code 20171). The Town of Herndon is incorporated, Oak Hill is not. Herndon is a nice enough city with an historic area  More

Close to Washington, DC (so you get the benefits of a major metropolitan area), yet maintains a semi-rural character. No multi-family housing. Excellent school system.  More
