If you are looking for a rural area that is close to the city, New Kent is a great place to live. Richmond is about 20 minutes in one direction and Williamsburg is 30  More

Compared to Houston, Texas, the cost of living is lower. Property taxes are about 70% lower. Car insurance 50% lower and homeowners is 60% lower. Sales tax is 1/4%  More
