Waianae offers visitors access to numerous beaches along its coastline including Makaha Beach Park which provides excellent surfing conditions year round while nearby Kahe Point Beach Park offers swimming opportunities sheltered by lava rocks walls stretching hundreds yards out into the ocean . Other attractions available include Wa'ahila Ridge State Recreation Area located nearby offering breathtaking views stretching across Wai'anae Mountain Range .
