Jackson Parish, LA is located in the northwestern corner of the state near the boarder with both Arkansas and Texas. Its population count was 16,274 people as of 2019 estimates by US Census Bureau data. The parish seat is Jonesboro and it also consists of small towns and rural communities that are home to many lakes and rivers making it an ideal destination for outdoor recreation activities such as fishing, canoeing, hunting and boating.
