Cuming County is located in east-central Nebraska, near the Iowa border. Its population is around 9,500 people and its county seat is West Point. Agriculture remains a major industry with corn, soybeans, sorghum and wheat being some of the crops most commonly farmed in the area. Cuming also offers a wide range of recreational activities including boating, fishing and hunting on local ponds and lakes as well as camping within nearby state parks.
