Garvin takes up a portion of south-central Oklahoma which it assumed since prior to statehood on 7th May 1907.. Establishing Pauls Valley shortly afterwards many other small towns like Wynnewood and Elmore City also now feature across its 2 400 km² (926sq mi). Statistics taken by the United StatesCensus Bureau estimates put Garvin's population estimate at 27 483 people; classifying Garvin unmistakeably among those counties existing withinOklahoma's most densely populated regions .
