Claiborne County, TN is located in northeastern Tennessee near Tazewell and Harrogate. It was established from parts of Grainger and Hawkins Counties in 1801 and has an estimated population around 32,200 people today. The county has a variety of recreational opportunities such as golfing at Cumberland Gap Golf Course or camping in one of the many parks like Cumberland Trail State Park. There are also multiple historical sites to explore such as the Tazewell Commercial Historic District established circa 1920-1952 or the original Claiborne County Courthouse built between 1832-1847.
