Located in the northernmost tip of Michigan's thumb, Caseville is a small town with a population of just over 700 people. Despite its small size and close-knit community, Caseville has not been immune to crime. According to recent statistics, the town's violent crime rate stands at 14.8, which is significantly lower than the national average of 22.7. However, the property crime rate in Caseville is slightly higher than the national average at 38.4, compared to 35.4. This means that while residents of Caseville may feel relatively safe from violent crimes, they still face a higher risk of property-related offenses. As a resident of Caseville, the crime rates in my town serve as a reminder to always be vigilant and take necessary precautions to protect our community.
