Keno, OR is a small town nestled in the beautiful mountains of southern Oregon. With a population of just over 1,000 people, it is a close-knit community where everyone knows each other. Despite its small size, Keno has unfortunately experienced its fair share of crime. According to the latest statistics, the town's violent crime rate sits at 15.2, which is lower than the US average of 22.7. However, the property crime rate is slightly higher at 32.9, compared to the US average of 35.4. While this may seem like a relatively safe place to live, any amount of crime is concerning and the community is always striving to improve safety measures. As a resident of Keno, I am proud of my town but also aware of the need for continued efforts to combat crime and keep our community safe.
