Poynette, WI is a small town with a population of just over 2,500 people. The community is known for its peaceful atmosphere and close-knit community. However, despite its idyllic setting, Poynette has not been immune to crime. According to recent statistics, the town has a violent crime rate of 9, much lower than the national average of 22.7. This can be attributed to the strong sense of community and vigilant citizens who work together to keep their town safe. Property crime, while still present, is also lower than the national average at 17.6 compared to 35.4. Despite these relatively low crime rates, the town continues to strive for even safer streets and neighborhoods. As a resident of Poynette, I am proud of the efforts of our community in keeping crime rates low and creating a safe environment for all.
