2/17/2021"Unfair"? What's unfair about people wanting to live away from crime, and having their children attend better (Clovis) schools? You yourself admit as much in your original comment. We lived in Fresno/Clovis for 35+ years before relocating. If we ever were to return to the area (unlikely), it would be to live in Clovis, not Fresno.

10/31/2020Reply to Trisha/San Carlos, CA: I would recommend that you consider Moscow, ID. It's a smaller town compared to Meridian and has less traffic issues, so commuting time is less. Moscow is a college town (Univ of Idaho), so be prepared for more liberal politics. Rents are less than Meridian, but Moscow does get more snow in the winter (approx 40"). Oddly, the winters in Moscow have somewhat milder temps due to its lower elevation than Meridian (2200' vs 2600'). Hope this helps. Cheers.
