Lived Here All My Life -
10/2/2015Lexington is a nice place to live, I cannot deny that. It is beautiful in all 4 seasons although I hate the winters. The ice and snow can be very bad and it destroys my landscaping!. I recently lost boxwoods that I spent 15 years cultivating. My husband and I met in high school and both of our families are from here. It was a good place to grow up and a nice place to raise our children. People are "tolerant" of others and are usually very polite and respectful, even if they do not agree with you. I grew up in the Chevy Chase area which was really nice and still is. Currently we live in the Veterans Park area which is fabulous. With all this said I want to move somewhere near the coast! As soon as we sell our house and I find a job I'm on my way!
