I'm from New York, and have lived in the Southwest and other parts of the Northeast. I've gravitated to big cities for the jobs and benefits of big city life, but now I'm yearning for something different. I really want a balance in my life; and I've found big cities to be very cold socially. I've thinking about moving to the West coast or Northwest.

Living in the Capital is OK, but I want more than - 9/14/2013
DC is great if you want to work for the federal government and dream of a career in "public service." But if politics is not your passion or special interest, you may be disappointed by life in DC.
