New Hartford is a Great Small Town - 7/25/2010
I moved to New Hartford May of 2007. Since then we lost our home to a tornado and then had a major flood, that affected New Hartford greatly. Until I moved there I was under the impression that if someone would take a leak outside it would flood. Now that I live there I can see that I was wrong. The flooding isnt as bad as people make it sound. The people take pride in the small town and are ready to jump in and give a hand. I am writing this because this town seems to get looked at as the town that floods all the time. We don't. This is a town that has a great heart and is full of great people. If you ever get a chance to come to New Hartford stop in and grab a bite at the Little House cafe and say Hi to Char.
New Hartford Iowa has been "WET AND TWISTED but Still NEW HARTFORD STRONG!"
