6/2/2010I have travel to all 50 states. I have owned a home in Casa Grande 2 years. There are some hot months May 15 thur Sept 15th. You really need a Pool here. It really helps me cool off. The rest of the Year the wheather is Great I am 52 and I have seen the whole county change. People are lost and have no Hope. Maybe now would be a good time for them to turn to God. He gives me Hope, Love, Joy and Peace... The Canadian's are nice people. I have met lots of them Here. Although I have made many travels in Canada seeing 8 of there providence's...I like Casa Grande. Not to expensive and we have most of the stores and things we need. If not, were close to Phoenix and Tucson. That is, If we need to see the crowd or some attend great winter activities....Arizona in whole does have the best whether period for 8 months of the year. I know people will always come to our great state. I also Have some great Mexican friends..( Their are good white people, black people, and mexican and latino people.. However WE must support HB#1070.. Illegal is Illegal and they should not be afford American Constitutional Rights. There is a Right way and a wrong way. Come visit Arizona and see Gods Beauty.

11/10/2007I live in post Falls, Id. too the last 5 years And this young lady is right. Idaho ( Post Falls), and the sister city Couer d Alene, Does not pay worth a darn and the word darn is a nice word for this town. I was lucky enough to sell my home and get out of there before the real estate caught up with the wages and local's. poverty... The only reason the real estate went up was because People that could not afford California. Sold there homes in Cali. took their equity or cash and moved to Idaho for a better living... Now that reality has hit. And Now, several of them have learned that the wages suck they have all put their homes back into a flooded Market. If it would not have been for the aggreesive financing and pumped up appraisal's.. A lot of people that have homes and facing forclosure would have never even bought. OH! I forgot to mention the Cold Drury and Cloudy 100 days of Winter.... That was of a new experience for a lot. I should have told them I guess. The real estate has not hit the bottom yet. Just wait for a repo to come up next to your house and you can watch any where from 50 to 200 grand disappear from your house's value...Good Luck

6/10/2007You Can afford to live here. That is; if you work in another state. Idaho is a right to work state. The employers know it, and they do not pay employees much more than minimum wage. Bring your money. I am sure someone will sell you a house cheap.

7/31/2006This is a great small town and a great place to retire. I call it "Texas close and Oklahoma Friendly". This meaning that, I can drive to Texas for food and pay No sales Tax on food products. I also enjoy the low property taxes of Oklahoma... I can enjoy the lake 4 miles away, "Lake Texahoma", with its park for pinicing, swimming, boating, Water skiing or fishing. It has some of our Nations best Stripper Bass fishing. Don't let me forget to mention the great little resturant's in the area serving Catfish, Seafood and Steak with all the hometown trimmings encluding good ole, SWEET TEA. There are some Great Churches in the area as well....Ya Come see us for a visit. Their are plenty of RV Parks in the Area too. starting at (10.00),Ten dollars a night with full hook-ups. c/ya. lgnealy@hotmail.com
