1/10/2024I have lived a few places besides Wichita, KS. I have lived in Savannah and Godly Station, GA / Ocean Springs and Pascagoula, MS / Angie and Bogalusa, LA / Fayetteville and Westville, AR / Tahlequah and Muscogee, OK / Edna plus Rose Hill and Wichita, KS / Rancho Palos Verdes plus Torrance and Long Beach then Scripps Ranch, CA / and finally Moses Lake, WA. While my early 80s three years in RPV is my favorite time and place, it is not the same place today (talk about spendy!). I have lived in Wichita 4 times a total of 35 years spanning the past 6 decades. Wichita will always be my home base while looking for my next adventure. For someone who likes to move about to enjoy new opportunities as much as me, I can think of no greater compliment to a city. Wichita, like most places, has its better and worse neighborhoods to choose to live in. Wichita, unlike most places, is universally inexpensive enough that there is no reason to knowingly choose anything but a nice neighborhood for a place to live. I suspect Brenda didn't comprehend the neighborhood she chose to live in to have the experiences she had. I have to wonder if she isn't wrongly judging an entire city by a local area. Here’s to hoping you have a better experience in your next home Brenda. Please just keep in mind... "Wherever you go, there you are". You can't create inner joy with an external move.
