Maltby area is wonderful!!! -
7/12/2006We owned a house in near Flower World & absolutely loved the area. The only downside is your kids attend Monroe. I don't have any children, so can't say much about the system, but many people in the area send their kids to private schools. From what I experienced near Maltby, there's low crime rate, you don't even have to lock your door. Neighbors are friendly, only problem we had was loud dogs.

7/12/2006I absolutely love Grand Forks. I attended UND for several years. The crime rate is low. It's a great place to raise kids. Still has a great educational system. With the university growing & the new Events Center & Englestadt Arena, it has many of the amenities that cities have, yet the commute time to work is so much less!!! The only downfall is the winter's low temperatures & the snow. I love snowmobiling & skiing, so it's not a problem for me!!
