Woodbury, NJ

Woodbury hmmm
- 1/22/2006
I've lived in New Jersey just about all my life (looking to move though, lol) . Woodbury is what I call the capital of Gloucester County, NJ. It's congested, tightly packed, and full of "snooty" people (High Upper class). Commerce travels through to deliver goods (ie. trucks and such) and non-compromising residents make it as difficult as possible. "Want the frieght, but, not the big trucks" I always say. County courthouse is what seems to be the focal point of the town, always bustling with activity....and adds to the congestion. Ohhh, and to those who aren't open to racial diversity you won't like it here....well that would include most of the northeast area (New Jersey, New York/New York City, Philadelphia PA, Delaware). I am a truck driver by profession and I'm here to tell ya bring your patience, lol again.

Hammonton, NJ

Hammonton, NJ in a nutshell...

Blueberry fields, Upper/Middle/Lower class blend, crossroads of north/south/east/west NJ (located at intersection of Routes 206, 30, 54, and just north of Atlantic City Expressway).
Hammonton, NJ is a combination of upper-class Italian and Middle/Lower-class Hispanic. The town celebrates Italian-American festivals and annually holds the Hammonton carnival (amusement rides, games). Hammonton is self-proclaimed "The Blueberry capital" , as such, most of south New Jersey is a rural farming community (much to visitors' surprise). It is north New Jersey closely associated with Industry. Be sure to visit a local farmer's market for great produce and friendly vendors (try the infamous New Jersey tomatoes...huge, juicy with just the right firmness for slicing).
