Blue Springs, MO

Blue Springs, Heaven on Earth for Families - 6/28/2008
Blue Springs is a FABULOUS place to raise a family. Public Schools are unsurpassed and community involvement is great. The city itself is a "bedroom" community with a lack of community leadership pulling industry/business into the area with the exception being the chain stores with $10/hr jobs. If you can support your family on that with both parents working at it and still afford daycare then you're set. Unfortunately my career grew to the point for that exact reason I was forced to move from the area after 42 years for gainful employment in a Senior/Executive Management role. From an overall perspective the City has everything and a great mix of things to do. General Services are easy to find and affordable. Comparing it to the Southeast (North Carolina) area and the cities there, Blue Springs is much more Cosmopolitan. A great choice for relocation if the opportunity exist for you.
