10/11/2020I totally agree that it is too cold in sisters most all of the year, when we drive to bend and drive through sisters we always say wow what a cool Town we'd love to live here and then reality sets in and we realize just how cold it can get 8 months out of the year . The town is over 3000 ft high elevation and if the pass is closed good luck on trying to get out. There's only one way out if there is a pass closed highway pass. also I read that there is no assisted living or long-term care type facilities in sisters, perhaps they only expected Californians to move there and ruin the little city like they've ruined Los angeles, San francisco, Portland oregon, and every other city that Californians move to . I used to not feel this way until I started researching the Democrat run cities especially the ones in California that have been destroyed

10/11/2020You are correct we have lived in Portland for 26 years and sisters is too damn cold it's good if you like to be cold all the time or at least 80% of the year it's beautiful but I'd rather be a little warmer than freezing a cold all the time the other issue is when it snows that deep there's only one way in and out one pass that will be open one roadway pass and you better make sure as hell this not a lot of snow when you try to head to bend for an emergency there also is no facilities in sisters for retired people as far as living assisted living type things I'm too young for that yet but for some reason they never thought that people were going to get old there maybe they would just hoping that The Californians were come and take over which they have

Sisters Glorious ...BUT... -
10/11/2020We've lived 26 years in Portland and everytime we drive through Sisters to Bend ..we want to stay...then reality sets in and we wake up to the fact that in winter you are locked in due to one way in and one way out ...passes closed...and it gets so damn cold. Bitter cold...for months on end. It's sunny but cold...Black ice...but the glorious sun ..Additionally the Californians are destroying the country and the attitudes here just like they have destroyed San Fran and LA...Liberal agendas destroy all cities with acceptance of the homeless and government socialism and my friends who live in Sisters are not happy with whAt Californians are doing there.
