Well worth the move from California - 4/3/2022
I moved here 3 years ago from southern California and love it! The people I've meet are helpful and caring. Sure there are some down and out but it's way better than what I've seen in other states. I feel safe when I'm out and about. I enjoy visiting the river walk, the local mountains and kayaking at the Pueblo Reservoir. There is a lot of homes getting built near us and like to see the progress. The traffic is nothing like the horrendous congestion we experienced in California. The winters are colder than we are accustomed but with time I know we will adjust. It's so beautiful to see the glistening snow so it's worth it. The cost of living here is below the national average which brings young families and retirees to the community. Most people I meet really enjoy being part of the community. I'm happy to be here.
