Not bad for the area... -
6/15/2010Nestled between D.C. and Baltimore, Eldersburg offers a bit of an escape from the hustle, bustle, and hassle of the city. It's expensive, housing is over-priced, and rentals are scarce. It's a very nice community to raise a family in and feels safe. As much as I like it here, I'm heading back west. The biggest issue for me is taxes, taxes, taxes! It's expensive to live here as it is, but this state is tax heavy. This county is one of the higher taxed. The weather isn't so bad, but you do have to learn how to deal with the snow. The winters are bitter cold and the summers are hot and humid. Could be worse.
