3/12/2010What Jay is saying of Nevada City, is true of any area worth living, "growth." Nothing in California is as it was in 1982, change is inevitable. If any area doesn't experience even moderate growth in 30 years, it probably didn't have much to offer to begin with.

Good Place to Retire? -
3/11/2010My husband is close to retirement. We lived in Scottsdale,AZ for 7 years in 80's and 90's, not sure if I'd want to retire there now though. What does Oro Valley (or other places in Az) have to offer? I'd cooler climates, but husband likes the desert. Thanks for input.
