Culture - 2/16/2011
Unfortunately, Elmira closes down by around 6pm--no one on the streets. There are no cafés, very few restaurants, and little culture. We do have a performing arts center which is a godsend. The town is quite clique-ish, and people prefer you and your family to have lived here since the 1800s.
