Raising a family in Naples Florida -
6/7/2009Excellent schools here, Sub-Tropical weather is a plus. Plenty of clean beaches, palm trees with coconuts hanging and clean parks for the kids. There is also a water park here with fair prices to enter. Everything about Naples is clean and modernized. Streets are clean, roads are clean, parks are clean. Areas to stay away. There are a couple of problem areas with some crime, like everywhere else . Stay away from the Town of Immokalee and East Naples/Golden Gate City. I came down here from the Bronx NY. My area is quite, no bothers from the neighbors and very low crime. Plenty activities for kids provided by Parks and Recreation Department in Collier County. Having a car is mandatory in Florida. You can also drive to the East Coast of Florida using Alligator Alley. Go on a full tank, there are no gas stations on Alligator Alley. Hope this helps.
