3/9/2020Lived in Houston 10 years ok good city not bad at all . My only issues was the heat and mosquitos are really , really bad and it’s very , very humid . If you have lung problems this place is not for you . People are nice that’s what’s make Houston what it is . Great food everywhere you go in Houston and I miss Houston, but not the heat or mosquitoes .

2/27/2020I was thinking of moving here heard good things about this place until I just looked at the people ,but as a white male who grew up around every kind of race , I can’t live where there is 90% white I don’t understand how anyone would want to live in a environment where everyone looks the same. I like to live around all different races and learn and share my experiences with there’s . We moved from Texas Houston to Reno Nevada which is very white my wife worked one year in this town and quit her Job because she got tired of looking at people that looked like her . If anyone knows of a good places where there are Mexicans,Spanish, blacks , whites, Asians, Middle eastern, Hard working middle class people please let me know. . No California lived there also .

2/27/2020I think Texas was one of the best places until California people moved in and drove up all the prices . I never lived in Austin because of the California people who are stuck up and complain about every single thing . So moved to Houston which was a lot better because people mind there business. The transplants have messed Austin up .

11/6/2019My family moved to Charlotte, NC in June 2019 because a family member said Charlotte was nice. Well next time, I’ll not listen to anyone because Charlotte sucks. Now, I will begin with the horrible traffic, bumper to bumper. The drivers are very aggressive and rude, I mean very rude. You could be sitting at the light and then the light turns green; before you can pull off, the person behind you is blowing their horn like a fool. People here have no Southern hospitality, so don’t even look for that at all. Also it’s very boring, we live in Ballantyne on the south side of Charlotte, so traffic, rude people and in our area they’re stuck up. If you speak to someone, like saying “good morning” they won’t open up there mouth. We have lived in Houston, San Francisco, Reno, Southern California and the list goes on and now we are here in this hell hole called Charlotte, North Carolina. The salaries are horrible unless you are in the banking or financial sector, most wages are below the national average. Crime is out of control. I’m talking about murder every day someone is getting killed. They let people out as quick as the go into jail that’s a fact .The criminals seem to know if you want to commit a crime, then come to Charlotte. The restaurant food is horrible, the ones we have tried like Chinese and Mexican food. Horrible...don’t even look for it. Housing is unaffordable. There is a housing shortage which has created a crisis. Prices and taxes here are comparable to California, but low wages.
