Great Small Town -
12/20/2008Hennepin is a beautiful small town located right on the Illinois River.
It is the County Seat of Putnam County, the smallest county in the state.
Hennepin and Putnam County are a great place to live and raise a family.
While we are rural in nature, the amenities of the city of Chicago are only an hour and a half away. The areas natural beauty and abundance of outdoor activities, as well as the closeness of the community makes this a wonderful place to locate.
