Great climate and geography -
1/11/2006One of the most beautiful places in the states. Red rock and desert. The weather is wrong from this site, it rarely snows or gets below freezing. It's the desert! Average high in Dec/Jan is around 60 degrees even though it might drop to 33 degrees or so at night. Summers are ok - low humidity. It will hit 110 for two weeks in July, but that's about it. Scenery is second to none. If you are into the outdoors - hiking, biking and climbing are awesome. Within an hour of high elevation playing - skiing, biking, camping, whatever. Some of the local culture is a bit quirky if not down-right odd but you learn to deal with it. This area is worth it.
