7/2/2005I have lived in a lot of states. Oak Harbor is wonderful. It is a small town yet their is a lot to do. Your close to seattle. About a 2 hour drive. No matter where you live you are close to the ocean. Their are a lot of little towns and Islands. The people are so nice. The homes are beautiful. A lot of people think that it rains a lot. It does in Seattle but not on Whidbey Island (where oak harbor is located) It doesn't rain any more than any other place. In the winter instead of snow you will get a lot of rain. You might get snow for 2 days out of the whole winter. I will take rain over snow any day. The climate is very comfortable. You can go all winter without a coat and be comfortable. THe summers are nice because it doesn't get humid. Oak harbor has a navy base. Most of the people in the town are their for that reason. The base is probably one of the smallest. It is a laid back base. I would highly recommend the town and the base to anyone.

7/2/2005I have lived in Florida, Tenn., Iowa, Madison, Wi, Washington state. Green Bay is one of the worst. Their water quality is horrible. You are actually told what amount you should drink and not to go over it. It is toxic water. So if you would like to have cancer this is the city for you. Soda would be a healthier choice to drink. Also some of the rudest people I have ever met. Even the retail people. You would think they would be nice. Not! Do not move here. This is a nice place if you happen to be a football player for the Packers. They will worship the ground you walk on. Otherwise drive as fast as you can through the city and get out!!! They do have a nice mall though. That is all I can say that is nice.

Pensacola. Hell would be a better place to live -
7/2/2005I have lived in many states. I was so excited to move to Pensacola but now I am more excited about leaving. Pensacola is a run down city. Every where you look their are buildings with borded up windows and abadond. This city looks so diry. This city is hard to navigate. I swear to god that each road has up to 3 different names. That is no lie. Only nice part of Pensacola is Perdido Key and that is mostly in Alabama which is beautiful. If you have to move to Pensacola for the military like we did I would suggest living in Foley Alabama. It is not a bad commute and Foley is really nice.
