schools - 8/25/2009
All the schools within this county do the best they can with what little funding is available to them. The high school was not the best in preparing students for college. But, that was when I attended a few years ago and I'm sure there have been some changes since then.

Come for a visit, but think twice before residing - 8/25/2009
Poorly managed and antiquated municipal government. Some of the same issues plaguing the entire county. Elected officials are poorly educated and usually have their own personal agendas as well as no desire to excel at their positions. The definition of insanity is alive and well within Owen county.
