Seattle, WA
Beautiful City -
3/24/2009Seattle is a wonderful place. I grew up in a suburb and moved to West Seattle as an adult. The public school system is stellar, especially if you have a child who is gifted. The programs are the best in the state and are modeled in other districts - including Bellevue. I now live in a University town in California. The public schools here are as good as Seattle - however few places I've lived can make that claim.
Federal Way, WA
My Hometown -
10/2/2007Federal Way is located somewhere between Seattle and Tacoma. I grew up here and went through the schools including Olympic View Elementary, Illahee Jr. High and Decatur High School. The caliber of education is not good. The city has changed a lot over the years and not in a good way. The city has built housing developments and more schools to accommodate the growing population. There is little to do in town and traffic is horrible. I lived here for twenty three years and I would never move back to Federal Way.
Davis, CA
Multiple ways to get around easily -
9/22/2007It's very easy to get around in the city of Davis. The bus system is very reliable and inexpensive. There are bike lanes throughout the community and drivers are very courteous and accustomed to bicycles.
