Although I understand some of what you are talking about with the larger companies moving jobs and with the young people being disrepectful at times, you lose credibility in the fact that you can't spell simple words like probably and misery. Perhaps if you would further your education, life would be better for you. Then maybe the insiders would accomodate you better. Wondering if you own a car as most of the negative commenters do not.

Kansas City, MO is good for me-but then, I do own - 2/19/2009
I moved to Kansas City, more specificaly Parkville in the Northland, about a year and a half ago in July 2007. I am fortunate enough to live with my aunt in a very nice neighborhood, so I have it easier than a lot of people trying to make it on their own. I attend a community college in the area and it is great, very diverse and knowledgeable. I think the city is a fun place to be, can be expensive depending on what you like to do and yes a car is a good idea, but in my opinion, a car is a good idea no matter where you live. If you depend on public transportation anywhere but New York City or possibly some places overseas, you are going to find yourself missing good job opportunities and not being able to decide when you want to do things. The people here are okay, not that unfriendly, and yes there are a lot of homeless people, but there are a lot of those in most cities. They don't accost you like some do in other cities I have lived in. Overall, Kansas City, MO gets a thumbs up from me!
