Stay west of route 47 -
8/21/2019As long as you stay away from Elgin and Pingree grove area you are ok, really gross that way. You want to go towards Huntley and sycamore and Genoa and Marengo area from Hampshire not Elgin area. Worst thing about Hampshire is that Pingree grove is ruining the area!

Absolutely horrible -
8/21/2019So congested and so many rows and rows of townhomes. You are right next to Elgin yuck. Pingree grove has no south border and all that land has been sold to Elgin and they will build thousands of homes and apartments all across the street from Pingree grove police department and all down route 20, sickening! One of the best days of my life was moving from Cambridge lakes Pingree grove Illinois. Everyone moves in and out and I had 11 different neighbors in 5 years. Everyone is so unfriendly and rude here and no community feel.
