Not that bad but getting there -
5/11/2010I have lived here all of my 34 years and its has been a great place to live, raise a family, have what fun there is to have and just to relax. A beautiful place for the scenery for lots of mountians to see. But with the way times are changing so is this town. I have seen people i have known all my life leave for there are no longer any big jobs to support families here anymore, which in return brings 2 types of people. The first i have no problem with and that is the elderly, small towns make for nice quite retirement places. These type bring knowledge and relaxtion and cleanliness with them. Then there is the other type. The type that think hey small town, small town law, means small town time for crime. which in return means trashy type home because of the "drugies" they just dont care about much accept where they score their next score. These type of people are ruing goldendale for everybody. I once thought that i myself would live here till I passed on. But its getting to the point where its not that nice of a place anymore.
